In semiarid Paraguayan Chaco with temperatures of 45°C (113°F) reliable water supply is crucial for cattle farming.
The cattle farm “Kenka Klei S.A.” is located 80 km (50 miles) away from power lines counts and with 12,000 head cattle and extends over 28,000 hectare (70,000 acre).
The farm possesses various drilled wells exploiting the transborder aquifer system Yrendá. The groundwater is characterized by high sodium sulfite and chloride contents and ideal for cattle watering but requires special attention for corrosion resistant martials.
